Sugar- Free White chocolate hazelnut

Sugar- Free White chocolate hazelnut

OK its safe to say that these taste luscious and delicious just like the coconut Ferraro Rocher’s ……..

Make a bunch and keep it up to two weeks ( if it last that long !) in the refrigerator !

INGREDIETS

  • 1 cup of melted sugar-free white chocolate ( this is slightly more than you need but hey ! more chocolate is never a waste!) mixed with a pinch of salt.

  • 2 cups of hazelnuts

  • 1/3 cup of desiccated coconut

METHOD

  • In a skillet lightly toast the hazelnuts. ; You can do this in two ways:

First way is to Preheat oven to 350° F.

    • In a baking pan toast hazelnuts in one layer in middle of oven 10 to 15 minutes, ( until lightly coloured) and skins are blistered. Wrap nuts in a kitchen towel and let steam 1 minute.

    • Using the towel, rub the nuts to take the skins off.

Second way is to use a pan or a skillet on the stove

    • skillet over medium heat, toast the hazelnuts until golden brown and fragrant, about 5-10 minutes, stirring the nuts occasionally.

    • Place on a clean kitchen towel, cover, and let steam for 1 minute.

    • Using the towel, gently rub the nuts to take the skins off.

  • Once you have the hazelnuts peeled off, let the nuts cool off completely!

  • Take a flat pan and put all the desiccated coconut and set it aside for assembly.

  • Now, take the hazelnuts and dip them in the chocolate and roll them in the desiccated coconut

    • You can use a tiny mould tray if you want as well.

  • Refrigerate these overnight and enjoy the next day !

  • Keep them in the fridge for over two weeks and nothing will happen to them!

ENJOY !
