Oat crepes
hi guys, this is a very versatile recipe. This can be amped up to be a sweet or savoury.I have done a basic version and I will link the savoury version I have done so you can see how I changed it from the basic crepe recipe!
Serving size : 3 large crepes
Prep and cook time : 10 min
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup milk of choice
1/2 cup oat flour
2 tsp greek yoghurt
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
If making sweet crepes- add 1/2 tbsp of sweetener of choice ( honey, sugar, jaggery, coconut sugar, stevia)
If making savoury crepes- add 1 tsp of chilli flakes, 1 tsp curry powder or any seasonings of choice) - to get my savoury recipe click here
Method
I blend everything in a high-speed blender and sieve through to get rid of all the lumps and pieces; this will give you a silky-smooth crepe texture.
Heat up a non-stick skillet and pour the batter using a ladle and rotate the pan to get an even crepe shape.
Cover with a lid for 30 seconds
If the edges are bubbling, flip and cover and cook until the crepe is completely done.
