Famous dalgona coffee
I don't know how and when this dalgona coffee emerged! But it did an appearance during these quarantine days! All over the YouTube, all I see emerging is dalgona coffee made this way and that way. As usual, I take a recipe, and I try to adapt it and make my little recipe to fit my liking!. So here is how I made this heavenly creamed up coffee which tastes almost like a dessert, to be honest.
INGREDEINTS
1/2 cup milk
2-3 tbsp of warm water
2 tbsp Nescafe granules
1 tsp of vanilla bean paste
2 tbsp of coconut sugar
METHOD
Take the coffee and sugar, vanilla bean paste and 1 tbsp of water and start beating/whisking. I highly recommend an electrical whisk or a beater as this can take a while with hand.
When you start whisking/beating you will see the mixture turning creamy, add another tbsp of water, keep beating/whisking until you achieve a very frothy, creamy, luscious texture almost with stiff peaks that you can scoop out using a spoon.
Now boil the milk; Pour into a glass and carefully scoop frothy coffee and place on top of hot milk. Once ready to drink, simply mix and enjoy!
