Chai latte- healthysutra style
Hi everyone ! this recipe can be made hot or cold and either way, it’s absolutely delicious! Now if you want this to be completely vegan, please swap the semi-skim milk to almond or a nut milk/ swap honey for maple syrup.

Prep and cook time: 10 min
INGREDIENTS
1/2 Thumb size piece of ginger crushed.
1 cinnamon stick
4 cardamom pods crushed
2 cloves
2 cups of water
1 cup of milk of choice
1.5 tbsp of sweetener of choice ( adjust to your liking. I used honey)
Pinch of pepper
1 heaping tbsp of tea leaves or 3 tea bags
METHOD
In a pot, add water, cinnamon, cardamom, crushed ginger, cloves, pepper and tea leaves; bring it to a gentle boil while tea leaves cook properly.
Strain the tea and add the sweetener.
Add the milk to a high-speed blender and blend until you see froth.
Then, pour the milk to a mug and heat up in the microwave for 1 whole min. You will be surprised how frothy the milk get !!!
Now add the tea to a glass then the top of with the creamy milk!
If you like it cold, simply wait until the mixture cools down and add ice..
