Skinny juice

I don’t know why I called this skinny juice, but since this juice contains a minimal amount of calories I think the name is appropriate! I would highly recommend you invest in a juicer as its such a valuable asset to have in the Kitchen. We spend on makeup, clothes etc.. without even thinking twice about it! But when it comes to something regarding our health; such as purchasing a juicer, meal plan or even healthy organic produce, we complain! Don't we?

Well, I think in life nothing can be compared to health, so, if you can save up a bit and purchase a good juicer, its a gift of health you are giving your self!

If you do not own a juicer, how can you make juices?

This can be done! But it does require a fair bit of work. You can use a high-speed blender along with one glass of water ( so it is a bit diluted). There are some steps you need to do to achieve a clear juice. You will have to peel all the fruits and vegetables, cut them to smaller pieces and blend along with one glass of water.Once everything is blended well, you have to sieve the juice through a muslin cloth to achieve a clear liquid.

Serving size : 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 celery stalks

  • 1 gala apple

  • 2-3 carrots

  • 1 cup of spinach

METHOD

  1. Simply put everything through a juicer and extract the juice. If you want to refrigerate the juice to have at a later time, make sure you pour the liquid to a glass, air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
