Savoury waffles

When I posted these waffles with fish curry on Instagram loads of people messaged me asking for the recipe.

SERVING SIZE: 2

Prep and cook time: 10 min

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup of oat flour sifted or regular wheat flour

  • 1 egg beaten

  • 1/4th cup coconut milk

  • 1 tsp of baking powder

  • Pinch of salt and pinch of pepper

METHOD

  1. Simply put all the ingredients together in a blender and blend until it creates a thin batter.

  2. Heat up a waffle iron and make the waffles! these are thin waffles ( if you want them crispy, you will have to cook them for a longer time; about 2 min each side depending on the waffle iron. If you want them soft and flimsy perfect to dip in the curries then, you will have to cook them for less time. )
