Masala oats
Hi everyone! Have you ever had savoury oats? If not, this is a great recipe to try out. It's easy to make, packed with nutrients and delicious. As we all know, oats are full of fibre and other nutrients. It keeps you satiated for a long time!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup of oats ( rolled oats)
1 cup of chopped up carrots
1/2 cup green peas or any other type of green veggies
1 green chilli
1 garlic clove
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tbsp curry or masala powder
1 /2 tbsp chilli flakes
Karapincha or curry leaves
Pinch of salt
1 onion chopped finely
Olive oil spray
1 cup water ( you may not need all of it but keep a cup ready)
METHOD
Finely chop all vegetables except the green peas.
In a skillet, add few sprays of olive oil and heat it; now add all seasonings along with the finely chopped veggies and sautee until vegetables are half tender and half cooked.
Add oats and keep sauteeing while adding half cup water at a time. Do not add the rest of the water if the texture of the mixture is watery.
Cover and cook on medium heat until everything is fully cooked. Give a final mix and enjoy !
