Sri Lankan-style prawn curry ( no themparadu)
Hi lovelies, I’m a seafood lover, and honestly, prawns are my favourite ! they are quite flavourful, and when cooked as curry, they are Devine!

Prep and cook time: 20-30 min
INGREDIENTS
3 cups or 900g of prawns de-shelled
1 cup of coconut milk
1/2 of a large onion, thinly sliced
1 green chilli chopped
4 garlic cloves crushed
2 tbsp of chilli flakes ( I eat quite spicy, please add less if you want a milk curry)
1 tsp of turmeric powder
10 curry leaves
1/2 tbsp curry powder
Salt to taste
1 cinnamon stick
2 cardamom pods crushed
METHOD
First, add prawns, onions, seasonings, crushed garlic, chilli and rest of the ingredients except for the coconut milk.
Mix well and let it stand for 10 min.
In a pan, add the marinated prawns and coconut cover and cook for 15 min, open the lid, give it a mix and cook until prawns are fully cooked. Season to taste
