Spicy prawns in a thick gravy
Spicy aromatic jumbo prawn recipe is a must-try! This is not complex at all! Please do give it a try and let me know how you like it. Bit of a warning though, this is extremely spicy as I eat a lot of chillies. If you're not a chilli lover; I have only one thing to ask you? What??? Why not? Anyways jokes apart, please do tone down on the chillies and make this recipe to suit your tastebuds.

INGREDIENTS
500g of jumbo prawns
1 1/2 large red onions
4-5 green chillies
7 garlic cloves
1/3rd cup of coconut milk ( thick)
1/4th cup of water
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp of chilli flakes
METHOD
Clean the prawns thoroughly, however, make sure to leave the shell on. Add salt and pepper and boil until prawns and thoroughly cooked.
Chop the onions, garlic and chilli to a very fine texture. It has to be super fine so that it will help with thickening the gravy. In a skillet, on high-heat, add few sprays of olive oil.
Sautee onions, garlic, green chill until onions are tender and soft; add chilli powder and 1 tsp of honey or sugar. Caramelize the mixture.
Add coconut milk and water and continue to cook for further 3 min. Gravy will thicken. Add the boiled prawns and mix well to combine prawns with the gravy. Turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let the steam cook the prawns furthermore.
