Sugar-free Granola bars
Who wouldn’t want to know how to make a sugar-free granola bar which has no chemicals added to it? well you are in luck as I have just created the most epic granola recipe which you can eat and not feel as if you have had loads of sugar!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup raw almonds
1/2 cup raisins or dates
1/4 cup pecans or cashews
1/4 cup honey
Chocolate Glaze you will need ;
1/2 cup of sugar-free melted milk chocolate
Pinch of salt
METHOD
In a skillet, add the nuts ; start toasting them lightly.
Once you feel the nuts are toasted enough, add the honey and keep stirring constantly for about 5 minutes; do not let the mixture burn.
The mixture will get sticky then eventually get hard.
Take it out of the strove and put the mixture in a container to cool down completely.
Now, add raisins and mix well.
Add melt chocolate and pinch of salt to the mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture to a flat pan and press it nice and tight.
Refrigerate for 25-30 mins.
Cut them into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
