INGREDIENTS
1/2 can of chickpeas
1/2 can of black beans
1-2 tsp of cumin powder
1/2 tbsp chilli flakes
Jalapeno
1/2 tomato chopped
1/2 red onion chopped
Coriander leaves to garnish
Salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 clover of garlic finely chopped
Few sprays of olive oil
METHOD
Using a masher, mash chickpeas and black beans until itβs mushy.
In a skillet, add a couple of sprays of olive oil, add the onions, garlic, chilli flakes and cumin. SAutee until onions are soft and well cooked.
Add the mashed up beans and chickpeas mix well; add garlic powder and seasonings.
Taste test to see if you like the taste. Add more salt or cumin to enhance the taste.
Now spread the mixture on a wrap or an Arabic bread, add coriander leaves, chopped garlic, avocado and chopped jalapenos!
